Krisztian Zavaczki was exploring the Scottish Highlands when he suddenly stumbled upon the mountain where they filmed one of the scenes from the movie “Braveheart”. After climbing the mountain, he witnessed this amazing overview and decided to capture the shot.
About the Scottish Highlands
The Scottish Highlands are by far the largest region in Scotland, covering nearly 10 000 square miles in northern Scotland. The region is home to a mixture of history, culture and mind-blowing landscapes… including the legendary Loch Ness.
This photogenic corner of Scotland has become a favorite location for movie scouts who’re looking for diverse landscapes, picturesque towns, or just the perfect backdrop for movies. The proof of that is the list of many movies that have been shot in this region from the oscar winning Braveheart, to the magical Harry Potter films.
