ADVENT DAY 15: FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS BOOKS

I love to read, I love to get lost in a book and enter a new world. My favourite way to chill is to run a nice relaxing bath and read a few chapters of a good book. Especially at Christmas, get the candles burning, throw a bath bomb in and whack out a festive read

I Heart… Christmas Lindsey Kelk

I absolutely adore the I Heart series and this is the Christmassy edition to the line of books. It’s better to have read the previous books first so you understand the background but reading about Christmas in New York travels you across the Atlantic Ocean and plonks you smack bang in front of Rockerfeller’s Christmas tree.

A Christmas Carol Charles Dickens

59

An absolute classic filled with so much warmth and festivity. If you haven’t read the book, you’ve probably seen one of the many film adaptations so why not take it back to it’s roots and read the story that began it all.

Skipping Christmas John Grisham

5357

The most hilarious Christmas read you can ask for and such an fantastic, funny story that the film Christmas With The Kranks is based on it. Prepare for belly laughs an Christmassy good feels.

A Girl’s Best Friend Lindsey Kelk

Another one from Lindsey but she’s just a fantastic chick flick author and you need a bit of fluff at Christmas time. This time it’s from the Girl series and if you’re a girly girl, you’ll love this festive read about best friends. I’ve only just started it but so far I love it.
