ADVENT DAY 22: CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS

Every family has their own Christmas traditions that Christmas wouldn’t be the same without. This year Christmas will be spent in Belfast with Ash and his family so I’m making room for some new Christmas traditions. Our own family Christmas will be celebrated over New Year and there are some things that have been consistent for the past 24 years of my life.

New Christmas pjs

Tracking Santa

Writing Santa a letter and leaving out some treats

Opening stockings on my parents bed

Stockings must have a glass bottle of Coca-Cola, a clementine, a scratch card, chocolate pennies and a pair of socks

My brother not letting me take photos

Christmas breakfast is bacon and mushroom rolls with a glass of Bucks Fizz

My Dad’s morning dance to Feliz Navidad

A Lush Christmas morning bath

Playing a board game whilst the parents are preparing dinner

Dinner is not the same without my Dad’s stuffing or pigs in blankets
