Even though it’s often the busiest time of year, it can be great to get away over the festive period. Christmas markets, Winter walks and snowy landscapes are a great way to get you in spirit and enjoy some time away.

London is the best for some Christmas shopping from Oxford Street with it’s mile long stretch of high-street shops to Kensington to splash the cash or Covent Garden for something unique, London has it all. Christmas markets are aplenty with the main attraction being Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Market stalls, rides, ice bars, Winter Wonderland has it all for the ultimate festive night out. You’ll find so many beautiful locations to ice skate, so many events on offer, so many market stalls to browse and an endless amount of festive afternoon tea.

A beautiful city any time of year but particularly at Christmas. With a gorgeous Christmas market right at the heart of the city, a yuletide light shows and the cutest little gift shops, it’s a lovely location for a weekend away. Pop into some adorable little coffee shops to warm yourself up with a festive drink and take in the stunning view of the Castle whilst shopping.

With over 80 different Christmas markets dotted around the city, Berlin is the ultimate market destination. You know the German markets are good as if you live in the UK, you’ll have noticed all of the markets we have are usually German themed too. Indulge in bratwurst and a glass of gluhwein whilst perusing the many, many stalls and purchase some German delicacies.

An absolutely breath-taking setting with Christmas markets offering the most beautiful and unique Christmas gifts as all the stalls offer incredible hand-crafted goods. The beauty of the city provides a perfect backdrop for some Winter walks.

The ultimate Winter destination where Old Saint Nick himself comes from. Reindeer, sleigh rides and seeing the Northern lights in a beautiful snowy setting. Sleep in an igloo or doing a spot of skiing are also an option for you. The best destination especially if you have kids but a magical location no matter your age.
