What is your favourite Christmas movie/s?

I love so many Christmas movies but my favourites are probably Christmas With The Kranks for a festive laugh and also The Holiday for a bit of romance. You can also never go a Christmas without Love Actually so that’s a given.

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?
Morning. I think elsewhere in the world, there is a tradition of opening on Christmas Eve, even just one present but Santa doesn’t come til Christmas Eve!!

Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
Not really a particular one I can think of, every Christmas is special and there isn’t really a stand out one. Christmas can vary for my family as my dad works a lot of them so sometimes, we don’t do much.

Favourite festive food?
I love all the food at Christmas!! My dad makes an incredible stuffing though and I can’t get enough of pigs in blankets.

Favourite Christmas gift?
I’ve had so many great presents over the years, I’ve not once been disappointed. Of recent years, my GoPro which I got last Christmas has been the best as it’s something that I’ve wanted to for a while and it’s been put to great use.

Favourite Christmas scent?
Orange and cinnamon so pretty much a festive spice.

Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?
We’ve always had an evening of nibbles with chinese chicken from M&S which my parents have had on Christmas Eve every year since they got together. We watch a movie as a family then before bed, track Santa on Google Earth, write him a letter for when he leaves our presents, leave him some goodies and hang our stockings outside our rooms. It doesn’t matter that the youngest member of the family is now 19, we still keep the tradition. Sometimes my dad works which is sad but we still do it without fail. This will be the first Christmas Eve where I don’t participate in this tradition as I’ll be spending Christmas in Belfast.

What tops your tree?
It has always been an angel. Same angel ever since I can remember.

As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I don’t think I ever really asked for anything crazy for Christmas. I usually sat with the Argos catalogue writing down everything I wanted and then had to narrow it down to a few things. From what I can remember, I usually got what I wanted.

What’s the best part about Christmas for you?
Spending it with family, being grateful for the love you are given, celebrating traditions and having a lot of fun.
